A Most Abnormal Child
Ab-norm-al, [adjective] different from what is normal
Living in an environment, with abnormal parents, with an abnormal set of values, on a boat..
 "
So an abnormal education is obviously in order"   ...Enya's dad

The optimist sees opportunity in every danger... ...The pessimist sees danger in every opportunity

......Winston Churchill.

..."Enya is one of the most abnormal kids you could meet, with the most abnormal behaviour you will encounter. She has very abnormal parents, who love things abnormal.  Born at home, and raised in a family who does everything together. Eats abnormally healthy food, studies abnormal philosophies, and has abnormal respect for other people, and other peoples things. Enya seldom watches TV, reads abnormally well for her age and  loves performing on  stage, Singing, dancing and speech and drama.

She started school for the first time in 2006, (1-2 years younger than the kids in her class) after being home schooled for nearly two years by her parents, Darryl & Narelle. (Brisbane School of Distance Education - Queensland Australia) *She was assessed by the Education Department in Bundaberg (Queensland) to start school a year early. She received an excellent end of year report. She is abnormally well mannered, generous and kind, to other people. Unfortunately being abnormal in an abnormal family is a lonely life. She doesn't get to socialize with many kids her age, because they think she's weird.

She celebrates abnormal festivals, not Christmas or Easter, but Lunar new year and other festivities normally found in Eastern cultures. She has an abnormally close empathy with the suffering, the needy and affinity with nature. Has been known to abnormally give away treasured possessions without a second thought,  if someone admires them. She abnormally remembers dialogue and verse, and has an abnormally complex vocabulary. She often recites poetry to her parents (and strangers) as a surprise gift ... So does she have a behavioural problem? Yes, because she's different, and it's one we are all proud of. We are proud and happy to be such an abnormal family.

So this is a record of Enya's education and adventures, to share with those who aren't too attached to leading a lifestyle that's ...... well ...'normal'
