S.V. Vantage is for sale. Because of business commitments in China - We are reluctantly forced to sell our home and yacht 'Vantage". She has had major refitting and repairs and is ready for someone to finish and enjoy. We have hundreds of photos available of this restoration in progress. All the major work is done. Whoever the lucky owner is , will be taking ownership of a fine old Hartley 38' 'South Seas' with a RORC type cabin.

Built to sail in cyclones and the high seas in Timaru NZ in 1979 by Kerry Smallridge. Sailed the South Pacific and Australian Waters for 40 years. And is ready to sail 40 more. The ferro construction of the vessel is next to none. One of the finest ferro hulls you'll ever see. Powered by the famous NZ built Ford Lees 86 HP diesel through a Borg Warner 'Velvet Drive' transmission. Brand new 1 1/2 inch prop shaft with serious prop bight. 8 knots at low revs and very economical fuel consumption. We have owned her for the last 3 years (third owners) and had planned on sailing around Australia for a start. As you will see if you look at our daughters website (you're on it now)...
